Needs a good cleaning under the hood, but pretty nice car and very compelling price.

I will add that I don’t believe I have ever seen a 94’ with this mileage (assumed to be in decent shape) below $20k.

Yes Sir, you are correct Sir!

1990=3032 with 181 sporting Dark Red Metallic
1991=2044 with 97 in DRM
1992=502 with 17 in DRM
1993=448 with 2 in DRM
1994=448 with 20 in DRM
1995=448 with 16 in DRM

Total 90-95 GEN 2 ZR-1 production= 6,922 units, with 333 of them finished with the Dark Red Metallic colour which used paint code 75U.

For MY1994 there were only 2 colours that were more rare than the 20 Dark Red Metallic ZR-1s,
the 5 Bright Aqua Metallic(25U) cars
and
the 11 Black Rose Metallic(73U) cars.

There were only 2 DRM ZR-1s for MY1993, which is the most rare colour built of all the "available" colours on all the 1990-1995 ZR-1 Corvettes. The next most rare colour of all ZR-1s using the "available" 1990-95 ZR-1 colours, is those 5 1994 Bright Aqua Metallic(25U) ZR-1s.

The air intake in front of the radiator definitely looks different. Not my color choice. Good luck!

One could always "wrap" it with the color of choice!

I would not wrap a Z.

I prefer a black or a white Z.

Looking at the photos again there is one taken from the front. There is no opening in the bumper for the ram air. That’s actually a positive. You can see it from the inside with the engine pix. Must have it drawing from under the bumper. One less thing to fix.

Just noticed on the last photo on the front bumper cover the small sections between the side running lights and front fog lamps are painted the same as the rest of the car, not black like 94s originally came from the factory.

Why does the dog leg on the left side miss the quarter panel by a mile?
How does that happen?
And what are the strands behind the dog leg?
Why are the fasteners on the front of the right rear wheelhouse so clean?
Were both sides damaged, and if so, How?
As someone pointed out the front bumper has surely been repainted, and the rear upper cover also has a lot of orange peel for factory.
Just questions.

I had noticed the front bumper repaint too.

I am also wondering about the ZR-1 emblems. They look funny to me... Like they have been replaced with later style, but wrong color for the car. Not sure about them being silver versus black. I am guessing that they should be black. It is the black around the silver that doesn't seem right. Emblems are not a big deal, but why were they changed.

Wheel liners have seen alot of wet weather driving maybe...they aren't black any more.

Passenger vent cover is missing and easily available.

Wheels, of course as mentioned.

Never been a fan of the need to put big aftermarket speakers in. Maybe a sign of some "cut and splice" work.

So what appears to be that big hole in the under hood air ducting... Does it mean that it has been breathing unfiltered air?

Ok, now that we have all picked the car apart, what it really needs is just a good inspection by the prospective owner. It's either a good deal for the price or a can of worms!

Oh yeah, the hatch gasket is split on the driver side and the front side marker light is cracked...both common occurrences.
