Rear ended at about 20-25MPH......buckled both quarters....guy told cops he was going 6MPH, lol

His defense....the light turned green, I waited for intersection to clear a left turn....and he kept coming

Best wishes to the driver. Up-side-down is not good.

What a shame. Glad the driver made it! A testimony to how well our cars were built back in the day! Hate to lose a yellow one!

Default One less Z in California.

Very unfortunate to see another ZR-1 destroyed. I’ve only been a member for a few months now and I think this is the third Z I’ve seen removed from existence during this short time.....In the bigger picture I guess it adds to the rarity as they drop off. Has anyone ever kept track of the known totaled ZR-1’s over the years? It would make for an interesting section on the forum.

Certainly a blessing that the driver is ok.

Lee,

Sorry to hear about the nut that hit you guys. Pray that Hannah is ok as well!

What happens in California with totaled cars? The LT-5 and the ZFS6-40 should be good since the impact was mid body. ECM and Ignition module also come to mind.

Glad you and Hannah are ok! Those C32’s are more rare than our cars.

Would love to get a hold of the ECM and ignition module, or locate one to borrow or buy, or get one of mine repaired.
