I'm not a fan of those interior treatments on that website. But that C4 rear spoiler pictured isn't bad. Kind of like the one on current Corvettes.

Quick update. Citristrip took care of the old coating. There was some remaining residue, which I sanded. That was followed by a wipe-down with isopropyl alcohol and a few coats of Rustoleum peelable rubber coating. It almost looks great.

Unfortunately, I used 800 grit sandpaper and it wasn't aggressive enough to really smooth out a couple of spots, especially where something - probably the goof-off - attacked the bezel itself. Also, the new finish crazed here and there as it dried, so I guess I got it a little too thick in places.

No worries. There is proof of concept in that it can definitely look nearly stock with more care, so round two awaits. It'll get stripped, sanded properly and re-sprayed. More to come.
