Mine with 19k has the same thing. At least it is black and one of these days I will try to get down in there and hit it with something black so it doesn't show. Like the larger rubber pad idea though...

I wonder if we could get enough guys together to get them to tool up in additional colors? For instance, might they make a limited run of red or gray or tan if we could get 15 or 20 of each color? Pipe dream, I know, but it would be sweet. These Weatherboots are COOL!

great idea i have the same set up, my original carpet has never been touched. I would feel more than comfortable with painting them red. You can also remove the black carpet from the weatherboot and replace it with red.

My 90 has a red/black interior, and adding black seats as well as foot and cargo mats and a new console pad to the new red carpet...(I think) really turned out well.
