Re: Cooling fans not turning on
I have not got my issue resolved. I still have switch on the a/c line unplugged so both fans continuously run. I think I'm just going to put new fan relays on it and a new temp sensor and see if that fixes the problem. I also noticed last time I had it out a few weeks ago the secondary's weren't opening up and it was running like a dog.

Re: Cooling fans not turning on
Hi OP,
Sorry to hear issue not resolved. I've been looking through this issue (I did not see any reoccurence of this issue in my own car), but the information in this thread: http://zr1.net/forum/showthread.php?p=207338 It seems that a good "override" to force the fans on is to have the AC on. I normally drive on nice, fine days, with my roof off, and have the AC on only on short spells to keep it cycling. So usually, AC is off. Anyway - if I track down anything else will let you know! |

Re: Cooling fans not turning on
I'll have to try and see what happens with the a/c on, sounds like if the fans will turn on when I activate the a/c system then it would be a bad coolent temp sensor.
