My 1938 Chevy will do 90.
Who needs seat belts??
Don't need a seat belt till you're headed for the windshield.

NH just bumped some areas up to 70. This is great, but 85, oh yeah baby!

Its when I pass the 150 threshold that I feel like I am truly alive.

Speed Limits are arbitrary numbers used by government to protect those who can't drive from themselves... (AND of course - so they can fleece revenue from us )

I pretty much hate em. Thank God for all the "Traffic Law Centers" we have around here. I drive what is COMFORTABLE for me. That said - I'm not a moron who is weaving through traffic at 90. But there is no reason we should be constrained to 60 mph on a 6+ lane freeway.
I better quit on this topic... I could write a book on what I think is wrong with Traffic Laws...

I remember my Dad driving across Navada at 130mph in his 1960 Police Intercepter.

I drove 1.4 million miles from '89 - '06, running a courier and delivery.

I can tell you a few things about speed limits ... and driving.

Maybe we should get together and write a Best Seller!
I probably have way over a million miles myself. Everything from motorcycles to semis and everything in between. If I had actually kept track of miles I ran the 5 years I had the beer delivery route - and the 5 years I ran dump trucks - it would probably surprise me...
I would just love to see a law passed here (and enforced) for SLOWER TRAFFIC TO KEEP RIGHT. Many crashes around here are directly attributable to who block up the left and middle lanes and force people to pass on the right...

Nevada had no speed limit on it's rural roads, including I-15 in the begining. It was drive according to conditions.
