I am trying to figure out which bands will fit my 18" Shelbys. Once I do I plan to pull the sensors from the original wheels and slap them on. def prefer things to be working.

Smile Being a 'Waxer'

(not too different from being a 'push and polisher' when I hung around IndyCars for a couple of years in the late '90's), I agree with you wholeheartedly..this board has the most generous and helpful group of posters I have ever encountered. I would not dare try to keep my Z without this source available...Thanks everyone..!

Just an FYI, but relying on the alt to recharge a dead battery is like playing Russian Roulette. Bringing a severely discharged battery (or worse, one with a dead cell!) back up with the alternator is taking a chance of cooking the diode pack/regulator in the alternator.

Recommend you pick up a smart charger; capable of 20-40 Ampers, as well as other features, e.g., detecting a bad cell, will desulfate a battery, etc., cheaper than a replacement alternator!

Just sayin...

Yep I use the Battery tender all the time just as a float charger and maintainer

The C4 is a battery power hog. It wants 12.69 Volts all the time or wierd stuff can really happen,,, youd think the car was possessed
