3.73 will keep you from having to shift into 4th at the traps.

Might as well go 4.56 then. 6500rpm is 110mph in 4th 7000 is 119mph in 4th. And 5th gear gives you 160mph at 7000rpm

I did essentially the same thing last year with Marc. I did the 510 package (but minus the Fidanza and I added Cats, so actually a 486 for the moment). I did Fine Silver with black bolts that were left over from other redos. Looks more stock, although I did add Haibeck lettering. Last year I did the 4.10s--I have had them on my 93 for 13 years and they are the best upgrade you can do for street driving. My opinion: don't spend the money on only 3.73s. Also added Corsa and Hurst short shifter as I had on my 93. There are a number of pictures in my albums section but her are a couple:

I have 3:73's but will probably upgrade to 4:10 one day. I run 19" rear tires so the gear gets reduced. I have driven Phil's car with the 4:10 and loved it

Since he doesn't drag race his car that won't matter. It's more about making it fun on the street. I think you would love the 4.10's. Plus, 1st is still usable (useless with 4.56 on the street) and you can still milk some mileage out of the car on road trips.

I think I will do the 4.10's if I do gears, I hear they put the most HP down.
