That is why I posted the photo of the secondary system in post #5
That system as you can see is laying on the concrete
My LT5 is running fine....but then again I have yanked lots of other stuff also

I'm still a bit involved with family issues. All Montana cousins are back home and things are settling down to local cousins and siblings.
The thing that is guaranteed about making it to being older is watching the previous generation give way to the inevitable.

But back to the issue at hand.
By all means rip out all GM designed features such that any potential future owner won't have a clue as to what he has or who did it.
Value could be increased by how rare you've made your ZR-1.
You can boast, it's one of only 6 that has the XXXX ripped out.
That will definitely increase it's value.
There is a line in the movie "Forest Gump" that covers it.

If it makes the car more reliable then take it out, throw it in a box, and let the next owner take it with him.
