That has become one of the most interesting posts I’ve ever viewed! The car, the scenery, the photography! Booked marked the “ZR-1 Alaskan Adventure Travel Log” so that I can view it over and over. Thanks for the link.

QB93Z, I have to say your Alaska travel log post is incredible. I even told my wife she has to view the post so she can see the incredible photography.

I wanted to ask, there are a few photos in your post where your interior looks gray, is it just my monitor? Glad to see a car like that being put to good use and enjoyed. What a way to see Alaska!

Thank you for the nice comments. Yes the interior on my Yellow 1994 is Gray. It is the 1 of 1.

You are welcome! I'm happy to finally see the color combo. Never have seen this combo in person, but I always imagined it would look good; from what I can see it looks great. You have the proverbial needle in the haystack!

A Yellow ZR-1 draws a lot of attention. During our trip there were several occassions where someone would come up to us and say that they saw us several days ago in some other area. It was fun and we got to meet some nice people.

My wife Lyndi is the photographer. She uses the photographs as inspiration for her paintings. I never thought that my ZR-1 hobby and her photos and art would fit together so well.

Traveling in a ZR-1 takes some planning and luggage discipline, but the reward is more than worth it. If you believe in the joy of ZR-1 ownership and if you believe in Permagrin, than a long trip in your ZR-1 is the best way to maximize your enjoyment.

Sorry for responding so late, I'm in nursing school at this time and my hours are all over the place.

I could see a Yellow ZR-1 standing out in Alaska, it sounds fun to have been recognized by other travelers. You just are not going to see Competition Yellow C4’s regularly in Alaska, least of all one that is a ZR-1!

My wife went through the Alaska Travel Log thread this evening, she kept calling me over to comment on photos and was saying how nice they are. She even said that it would be fun to do a trip like that someday in the Corvette (we have a ’96 LT4 with 55k miles that we've owned for the past 15 years.)

I noticed in one of your photos that your wife was working on a watercolor while in the passenger seat, that is an impressive merger of interests, not to mention that she has a steady hand. Her eye for creativity comes through in the photos in the thread.

Shouldn't be too much longer till I graduate from my LT4 to an LT5. Here are some photos of my good ’ol trusty steed.
