When it happens your temp guage will jump, you are sending the water back into the motor without going through the radiator. It will quickly cause a rise in ol temp also. According to fluidyne it can handle the 100 gpm flow whereas the stock system cannot. This 'condition' really hurts the overall performance as one of the sweet things about this motor is its 5000-7000 power band.
