[QUOTE=ZZZZZR1;142253]Hoping Yun chimmed in as he just did his 140bh. I will call him tomorrow and see what options he added, I also wanted to see if he connected the speed sensor to his head unit as pioneer states it will add accuracy to the GPS mapping algorithm.

Without it you will be counting on dead reckoning. Yes otherwise your directional arrow will go askew.
BTW the VSS wire is the Forrest green wire with the white stripe on the 91.

I did not add rear view camera. As for the speed sensor I think I tapped into a factory wire that triggers volume increase for the Bose unit as vehicle speed increases. What effect it had for the Pioneer unit, I don't know. Also, connect day/night trigger wire to purple/white factory wire that connected to the Bose head unit (I think it was labled LCD diming in the shop manual). This will make the Nav screen to switch to night view when the light sensor located top/left of trip computer buttons sense low ambient light. One more thing - after the install turn the ingnition off and the head unit stays on due to courtesy time delay. Open the door and as the unit turns off I get a pop from all speakers. From what I understand this is coused by voltage difference between grounding points being picked up by RCA line out. So, I picked up a pair of PAC Ground Loop Isolators. I am hoping to splice this in sometime this week and will report whether this was a fix or not. Last edited by secondchance; 05-30-2012 at 12:49 PM. |

That is it, Dark blue feeds power to the reverse light switch on the trans and the signal/trigger is light green. However I am looking over every wiring diagram I have and cant find anything that states the Reverse lights are wired back into the car, I will check the wiring when I get home on Friday.
