I just watched it. Mixed emotions. Thought it would bring more, but I believe it had like 33K miles. Still undervalued! Someday people will realize what a performance value these cars are!!

Not sure where that puts a 54,000 mile Black 94ZR-1 in Houston. But I would guess the low 20's. Good thing I don't want to sell it.

And you know what Ryan it really wouldn't be worth it to sell anyway. Its not going to sell for what you bought it for. And they are just to much damn fun to drive to put them out to pasture.

I think since they are starting to show up at these auctions more often the price will begin to climb. It is bizarre that a 71 Mustang brings more money. I think all I want to do with mine is park a 2008 Viper next to it in a few years. I figure the 2013 model should drive down the price now. Nothing like a 600HP Convertible.

That depends on which Mach 1. If its one with a 351 Cleveland then that's sad. But if it was a 428 Mach 1 then that's a different story. But since I work for a living I missed the auction all together.

it was the Boss 351. I'm not buying it if collectors think that car performs like a Boss 302. Those were the biggest heaviest mustangs ever made. Couldn't you get a 429ci Cobra Jet in the 70's (not the Boss429 which was gone in 70).

That came in the Torino in 1970 1/2. The one to have is the 1968 1/2 428 super cobra jet mustang. 400hp stock with an automatic. Very rare. Came in fastback or coupe. Big big bucks for those cars now.
