It was a great WAZOO day!!

Here is Jim helping Yun clean the valley with a pot of boiling water:

(Don't tell my wife that her pans are being used to clean an engine.)

The ground problem on Paul's 1991 ZR-1 was the connection on the rear of the engine, on the right side. The bolt is very close to the bolts that hold the bell housing to the block. We suspect that the bolt was loosened accidently during bell housing removal two months ago.

A BIG thank you goes to Jim Voter for solving my battery drain no start problem, which ironically started the morning of Wazoo maintenance day. He masterfully identified the electrical short caused by the stereo power wire as the cause in 1 minute.
On the way home, I enjoyed an intense 110 mph spring breeze, as I upshifted to fourth. With Dave's gentle prodding, I am slowly, after 8 months of ownership, learning to drive the crap out of my 6k mile ZR1 and not worry about miles or something breaking.

YEA TEAM WAZOO! I am very happy! Yes, one little bolt caused all the issues. Unbelievable! Thanks to everyone, especially Jim!

Why are these events always happen when i have a 24hr shift at my Firehouse?

I looked at Pauls car and could see the ground but it looked ok, but with no lift and hot car forget it.

Hey, I forgot to thank Dave for the oil change help and encouragement. I switched to 10-30 Mobil1 hi Mileage as Mark Haibeck recommends this oil which meets 1100 ppm Zinc needs and is easy to find.

110 mph runs, 7000 rpm fifth gear blasts. I'm starting to see a re-ocurring theme here.
