I have been testing some new material, imersed 1/2 in Mobil 1 syn oil, @ 300F for 2 hrs with no deterioration. I like the mesh & plan to cut it into the right size & put it up on my store. No pictures yet. Will post soon.

I think you need to be judicious with it. If its packed to dense it will clog which is what appeared to happen w mine. Oil tends to collect on it and that impedes the vapor. The telltale for me was the small pool of oil in the bolt boss right next to the vent tube. I would clean it and it would seep back. I would also get a burning oil smell when I would accelerate hard. Had multiple sources of small oil leaks.
Motor probably has 2k miles on it.
