Yes I did. I walked into work this morning and there he was. He said I made a bet and I lost. He handed me his business card and said call me Wednesday and I'll buy you one of those 22oz margaritas at Los Cucos.
I called both places and I asked can you do work on an LT5. I mean really work on one. Both places paused and had to think about it for a minute. First guy said yes but its been a long long time. He said most people don't have those anymore. I said can you provide references of anybody you've done work for. Nope.
The second guy paused and said yes also and didn't sound very confident about it. Said they had done some intake work and head porting on one once. And asked why? What do you need done? I said can you turn it into a 335ci stroker. He said sure. Lol! Thats all I needed to know as I'm giggling. Then called Corey to see if he's heard of these places. He said ARD is ok but on LT5's? And Powerfab! Who's that? He said I sure would be curious of what kinda hp their getting out of their LT5 builds. I'd be really interested in that.Lol! So after all of that (which was more work than it was worth) This guy admitted he contacted them and they told him that they don't do work on LT5's. So there you have it.
