Re: Drag Racing at Beech Bend
So, Frank...I gather what we're talking about is the O'Reilly Saturday Night Fun Racing as THEE only window we have to race at the BG event. Would have been nice to have a Corvette only time slot, but then any time slot is better than what the weather has allowed for the past two events anyway.
Well, since this is open to the public (?), then I gather racers and spectators pay at the gate; no discounts for prepaid tickets, I gather, and that's that, no? As far as venue for this "Fun Racing" goes, do you know if it is a bracket race event, or is it just more like a "test and tune", i.e, informal racing? Nothing promotes excellence like competition. Y'all know the FBI gang has some 10-second cars that are likely to be there. Anybody, e.g., the WAZOO or some other group want to race for the best agregate time of their top 3 cars to win a traveling trophy? (I recon the FBI's BIG GUNS could stand down this first time and give some of the rest of you poor (WAZOO) bastards a chance. ) Game on??? How 'bout you Texazz boyz?? Thanks for the info, Frank. P.
