This has got to be one of the BADDEST of them all. To be honest with you, if someone offered me this car or a new C6 ZR1, I think I would have to take this one.

tough call, 20+ year old car, or one that's known to eat valves. both have their issues

The new ZR1 does not eat valves. The new ZO6 has a valve guide problem that GM will not admit. Plus some of the new ZO6 owners think they can track the car for thousands of miles with out refreshing the engine.
Some times you have to "water" or in this case maintain the horse. The C6 ZO6 is a long legged race horse , no doubt.

Me ? I'd take that ole LPE ZR1. For me it's about the personality of that LPE built beast. We have seen that car and heard it. And it's very impressive ! It's just lusciousness on wheels.

Id take the wide body LPE. Ive never been one to try keeping up with the joneses anyway.

coulda sworn I'd heard some people talking about the zr1 eating valves. oh well, i've been wrong before

Graham started up that ZR1 in the Corvette Museum to load it onto the LPE trailer. The sound would make a Ferrari blush.
