Anyhoo, the car came with reciepts 500 miles before I got it for all new Compressor (looked new too), accumulater (look at the bubba engineering on the the drier strap) new orifice tube, new a/c line, flush, retrofit/charge, and 2k later there is an old chewed up clutch pulley, Really?! you spent 2k for your a/c not to work and ignored a 50 dollar part? It'll be interesting to see if it works when I get it back together.

I pulled the plenum and the coil pack looks new so does the ignition module, I know it just got a new starter and someone spent some money trying to track down this problem. I put new plugs in it. Someone else had cleaned the throttlebody, although it looked like maybe the outer T/B gasket may have had a tear down low by the IAC. It has obvious new plenum gaskets, and I'm gonna check all the vacuum lines as soon as I get a guage. Any other hints clues for the hesitation? Does it right off idle in normal and full power, will check fuel pressure and ohm the injectors, and trace the plug wires tomorrow.

Damn you Bubba! I have the proper part on there now, I'm 65% anal.
Stumble off-idle might be a dirty wiper on the TPS. Maybe Marc Haibeck will have mercy on us and give us his thoughts!

BTW, it looks to me like that motor may have received some moderate top-end P&P...maybe. The IH ports, and even the plenum runners look to be too uniform to be stock...at least in the picture. You may have some extra ponies there, depending on the tune, etc.??

Check all the connections at the PCV system. The F connector doesn't hold the top of the valves all that great and its only held on with groves in the fitting. When I replaced new PCV valves I wound thread, sealed with epoxy around the tops of the valves to build the diameter.Take a look at the injectors,if they are the OEM injectors they will need to be replaced. When you put everything back together the biggest pain is plugging the connector into the back of the spark module, very easy to bend a pin or two.In the connector itself there are 2 push pins, one on each side, these may have been used at the factory to aid in assembly.
