Do you know if Mike is happy with the KDWs Bob?
I need a set of 18" tires and am considering them as they are significantly less costly than the Michelin PS2 alternative.... Last edited by ScottZ95ZR1; 04-17-2011 at 07:55 AM. |

Heheh, he's not driven the car on them yet... I too am curious how they compare in dry grip to the Ecsta XS he had before. I have them on my V, and they can be a little loud.

That is one beautiful set up - your car looks great from stem to stern - congratulations!

Michael , thanks for the nice comments. Now that Jim Voter was kind enough to fix the situation that I could not post I would like to answer a couple of questions that were asked. The new BFGs are great. Even though as they get older they seem to get louder per some reports, I can honestly say they do not seem loud to me. The grip which is the most important to me is very good. My car has headers, exhaust, ported plenum and inj. housings, Haibeck prom and 410's and the car car hooks like crazy. As a matter of documenting it I ran a 1.93 sixty ft. time at the 75/80 drag strip this year with those street tires. Not bad. These tires are very inexpensive and they will dry rot before I wear them out as much as I drive this car. I would by them again in a minute. I want to thank Bob for taking and posting the pics. I just love the car and it is joy to drive.
