I like your idea of slotting flange holes out the bottom of the 2 "problem children" bolt locations. Not only would this save a lot time on the install it would also cut a lot of time if you ever had to R&R the headers for any reason.

I was too tired to focus but when I install mine, I will take a serious look at cutting these flange for those 2 bolts - just have to make sure there is a sufficient room to manuver to slip on. George did not think there was at least for the driver side but I will give another shot st this.
George had a set of OBX headers and I had an opportunity to compare the driver side between the SS and OBX right next to each other. Runners were identical. Collector was shorter on OBX but these come with fake cats so these most likely make up the difference in length to where it mates to the exhaust. |
