I guess its just my turn to fix something. I had a good run for a couple of years. I'll figure it out and hopefully it doesnt take to long. Great weather is on the way.

i am just wondering if when they did the repair that they may not have got a ground back on tight . or if they might have knicked one of the rubber hoses that go to the fuel tank. or knicked one of the wires going to the fuel tank. i am not saying they guys dont do awsome work because it looks like they do. but sometimes funky things like this can happen . am i correst in that the car was running fine went she went into the shop? she does look very nice rick .just thought to share with ya , that you might ck stuff around the repair

Multiple error codes sounds like a bad ECM to me. Swap in a known good one to isolate the problem.

I tend to fully agree with you about that. Because it ran awesome before I dropped it off. It never Idled so bad that it just about died before. Once I get rolling you don't notice it. But when you take off from a stand still and engage the clutch if sputters until you get rolling. Of course the secondaries are disabled because of all the codes and ses light. I'll check around the repair area. Maybe something got pinched or a wire cut. Checking the repair area makes the most sense.

i notice that you had a mat temp too low code .that can be set if one of the connections has been breached . i know yours is relocated . someone may have caught a wire while working on the car . that code alone will disable the secondaries .dont ask how i know this

No! Its kind of hard to tell them they f#cked my car up right after I told them how great of a job they did on it. I wont have time to look at it until this weekend. And if I can't pinpoint the problem on saturday then I'll just cart it off to Coreys and let him deal with it. I just don't have time like I used to work on it anymore. Things are picking up at the machine shop. I run the place while the owners out meeting with customers. Im the first one there and the last one to leave. As soon as I hit the front door its kaos. I don't have time to even sit down and get on the computer anymore. Sorry Carter I missed your call. I'll call you this weekend buddy.

rick i know it can be hard to tell them that but you should really do it . as they may know right where to look .it is their fault that the car is doing this as it was running fine when you brought it in to them .

Oh I'll tell them. But what would be back around the bumper and drivers side 1/4 panel that would cause this besides fuel lines and the automatic antenna and rear lights? There's no reason for them to have popped the hood for anything.

you just dont know till you ask them , just approach them very nicely and ask . they had to open the hood to disconnect the battery . i would ck the fuel lines and there are the 2 rubber lines the connect to the fuel pumps that are on the outside of the tank . maybe one of them has a little split in it causing you to suck a little air. they are 20+yrs old . you could start the car get a spra bottle with soapy water and spray the lines. if she blows bubbles shes got a leak .either tha or the worm clamps my not be tight . i doesnt take much to mess up a fuel system that operates at around 50lbs. my best guess is that your problem is at the fuel tank rubber hoses or maybe a intermittin ground issue .but its only my best guess that and 50 gets ya a cup of coffee.just tryin to help my buddy out as best i can . you have worked so hard on her for almost 2 years you deserve some quiet driving time without issues .jmho
