I thought I read that this was a concept only. If GM can't get by running ads showing kids dreaming of of driving vettes, what's the chance that the mommy-knows-best contingent will let them sell an actual car designed for the track?

Trust me when I say that the wing is on that car strictly for functionality and not for any thing else. This is a Chevrolet out of the box light weight racer.
It would make a nice bar on the side of Bob's bus though. |

GM is late to the game. Chrysler has a Challenger drag pak car, the latest with a V10 in it. Ford has the Cobra Jet and Mustang spec racer.
GM has....nothing. *no turn key race cars, the Camaro body in white doesn't count! |
