Re: Is this connector on the + pos battery cable available separately?
Just put up your disclaimer with each pic
I'm planning a similar project, favoring tapping into the existing pos. cable near the stock battery location with a jumper terminal and running the neg toward the rear with a shut-off switch in the LP for drag strip legality.

I went with the Braille B3121, but I decided not to use their bracket as I found I will have to butcher it up a bit and did not like the mounting method. I'm looking into a bracket I found on a BMW site for the Braille B3121 but still have to get some measurements before ordering. I think I might be better off starting a battery relocation thread once I have this done. I just bought all the other wires and connectors I need for the power to the front on the start and and junction block.

Re: Is this connector on the + pos battery cable available separately?
Hmmm, pretty interesting. I was thinking of a similar routing but crossing over inside the rear compartments and going up the drivers side to end up near the terminal block.

Thanks for your thoughts and I should have asked around a bit more first. As for the ground up front, the battery relocation kit that I bought came with this 18 inch ground cable so I'm going to use it from the frame to the block on the driver's side. I guess you can never have too much ground. I thought about some 8 gauge wire with terminals to run from the starter to the junction block since it did not seem necessary to run all the way to the battery? What are your thoughts about that? Thanks, Craig

Re: Is this connector on the + pos battery cable available separately?
Hmmm, I think I'm not an electrician
You could always split the main cable when you emerge from the firewall, why go all the way to the power block then back to the starter? To me it seems easier to keep the stock harness and run the main cable from the battery up the drivers side and connect to the factory harness via a jumper post or even a disconnect switch mounted to the stock battery tray.
