Anyway, I chose one that not only preserves the stock height but keeps the reverse lockout too. If interested I can look up more info. The installation does require grinding off a small bit metal from the casting.

I installed my hurst about 2 years ago and love the smooth shifts and it is a shorter than stock

I've got 3 take out stock shifters,
always used the hurst, but I'm betting bill's modified stocker works great if anyone has a hurst and needs a stock shifter, I've got them. ![]() |
