It is the LCD segments that are not working correctly. Bits missing and at one stage myZR1 was the only Vette in Australia to reach 425 KPH.
I was under the impression that it was the chips that controlled the LCD segments. If not please tell me the good news and if there is a easy fix.
I had the same problem 12 months ago , and a mate resoldered some of the points in the dash, and it came good for 12 months then gone again.
Thanks for any help in advance. cheers Ernie.
I know for a fact you can change the LCD from narrow C4 vettes cluster.

I have contacted the dash repairers and they are not prepared to help by suppling the parts, which is all I need as there are guys over here that can do the work. My question is can any of you guys get your hands on the two computer chips that need to be replaced, and send them over? I am not having any luck from my end.
Cheers Ernie.
Hi Ernie,

I have shipped couple ZR-1 Clusters to Australia for guys and here what we do. I send you a complete rebuilt cluster, for a 1991 model, not a 1990 or 1992 and hope you don't notice the difference, but the exact 1991 cluster. Charged you the $500.00 core & upon return of your old cluster, issue a credit for the $500.00

I keep these in stock & ship by US Mail, or Fedex, if shipped FedEx you can have it by Friday.

Your desire to buy just the needed parts though is futile and nobody will supply them.

You can see and order the 1991 cluster here.

$349.99 is the cost of the rebuilt cluster, and that really is a VERY good price.

Thanks Mate, I will get it underway straight away. I have bought gear from White racing products before, and found them to be very good to deal with. I did check out the site before but was unable to track it down on the web site. Must have been asking for the wrong part description. Probably had it upside down. Thanks for all the help guys, Cheers Ernie.
