Significant investment? You still have your originals and many people would pay for the labor. You have to be kidding, its typically a few staples. It's not like they are in the Smithsonian's collection of rare books. I'll pick up a set when they come available, I'd hate to gain knowledge for free from someone's SIGNIFICANT investment. Re: How many of you have been around since the original ZR-1 Registry?
I just looked at wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyright#Duration If this is correct, the old Legends are still protected. How about someone donating (and writing off) the entire collection to the NCM library and let them deal with the copyright aspect. Anyone could look at the library copy and make their own copies as needed.

To answer the original question, I was around back then, as I'm sure a few other lurkers have been.

I saw your car lined up with all the other BWs in front of the Museum in an old mag. That must have been a fun trip. GC

I had one on both of my '91s. Wonder if they are still on them. I think the Turq one is now owned by a member in Ohio. The steel blue metallic was sold to a guy in Paris in Feb '93, never to be heard of again

Re: How many of you have been around since the original ZR-1 Registry?
Congratulations to you folks that have been around from the beginning!!! Thanks for sharing. =D> It is nice to see that some folks have hung tough with the ZR-1 where so many have moved on for various reasons. I sure would like to hear the stories when meeting some of these folks and learn more about the following of these special cars.
Blackwidow#2, That is an awesome collection you have and I can't imagine going into my garage and having those choices. |
