Hi Ray....welcome to the forum. I purchased a '90 about 2 years ago and it had a DRM chip. I had Marc Haibeck put his chip in last summer and re-tuned to his specifications. Got me another 10 rwhp. It also came with Power Effects exhaust which I believe are not made any more. These are the only power modifications made to date. Thinking about having Marc port and polish and maybe adding headers in the future. The 8K - 10K price is probably correct but I think you should probably be in the neighborhood of 390-400 rwhp. The car runs the dyno at 355-365 rwhp depending on the conditions. Very happy with the simple mods I have now. I would find it hard to justify to the wife if I wanted to go the more expensive (20K-40K) modifications. I don't do any track racing - just street stuff. By the way, when I purchased my ride it had 52M and most of the issues had been fixed by the previous owner. Good luck and take your time. There are many excellent cars to be had. I waited 2 years to find the color combination I wanted.

It there anything I should look for when inspecting the car other than the obvious. Was there any major issues with this year Zr? I gave up my 86 Grand national to get a Zr1.

Thanks

that's a decent price, a bit high. the zr-1 is quite the beast and the 93 - 95s are my favorite. Bryan is right, I still have my highly modified 87 Turbo T, owned since new. and my fav which is LPE 95 zr-1 which is sneaking up on 50k fun filled miles

good luck with your search, the 94 is a great year and if the car is in excellent shape it's worth the 33k. although the prices are starting to drop off a bit now that the c6 z06 is out.
