Hey TomTom - great response. I feel the same way as you do. I bought my '90 in 5/2004 with 51M and now have 62M. I always drive here locally but don't think of long trips with it. I am changing my mine on the long trips. Why not drive and enjoy is my new way of thinking!!!

Thanks Bob! It's hard to tell some one else what to do in that situation! It's not like "my injectors are leaking & shorting. What should I do?" Easy Q!

The winter here in NY only let me do get aquainted trips till I got the car "legal" in my state, 4/28/05. I put 1K on it just learning but once it was "legally" NY registered my first trip was to BG! These cars are long distance runners for sure. I still get jazzed when I'm on the long road with the car. It's like what I think flying a fighter jet must be like...I know I need to get my brain tuned up!

When I go on cruises with the CF/NE events crowd, well all I can say is bring lunch & a full tank because we are not coming home anytime soon!

That is a healthy attitude Tom.

In general there will always be a market for the ZR-1, and the garage queens will fetch more than daily drivers. However, just as with the 60's and early 70's vettes, they all are worth different amounts depending on their condition. It will be some time before our ZR-1's appreciate like those classic vettes, so unless you have bought it as a long term future investment, you should do what makes you happy.
