If there was a solid kit for supercharging or turbo'ing these motors big power could be made I'm sure. Fill the cylinder water jackets with some concrete to stabilize the cylinders, and boost away.

I have seen quite a few 944 Turbo guys do this process and make big power.

It might be a bit obvious, but I also think the 510 package is a great value for getting plenty of power at a reasonable cost. Combined with a 4.10 rear, a little exhaust modification it is certainly a substantial improvement over the stock 405. Very noticeable yet tractable around town, super durable and reliable. While I don't have experience with nitrous or adding super- or turbo- chargers I have to believe that there is less risk with an essentially stock naturally aspirated LT5 in Marc's 510 package.--Bob

Agreed, Marc's package is, to me at least, the C4 ZR-1 at it's very best. But after i've owned a couple of turbos, I'm so impressed that I would love to see a reasonably priced package for a "street" turbo, or supercharged LT5, that would stay with the big dogs without mortgaging the farm to do it.
I guess it's just a little too late for that.
