Re: Eureka Springs Corvette Weekend
Apparently the last owner installed cams but when they did, they reversed intake and exhaust. The car started giving me trouble shortly after bringing it home but no one could diagnose the problem. According to the tuner that put the motor back together the improper install of the cams resulted in damaged chains and 4 bent valves. He appears to have done a good job putting back together though I've been sorting out all the peripheral issues since getting my car back.... I'd almost forgotten (if I ever really knew) what the car was like over the time it took him to put it back together... I'm so glad to have it back again! He estimated 560+ hp at the crank and once it's fully broken back in I'll see about putting it on a dyno though I couldn't resist trying her out and it is crazy powerful....

Re: Eureka Springs Corvette Weekend
My wife and I are looking at retirement properties in the Hot Springs area and the Eureka Springs event sounds like a lot of fun. We are heading down there on September 22nd for the week, so will be a little early for the event..but sounds great for the future...good luck with the car..
