I am also thinking about making a modified rear bumper with stock tail lights with the ZR-1 script logo just to see how it looks. THOUGHTS????

If you don't have a CALLAWAY LT5 engine treatment, why have the CALLAWAY plastered all over the rear of the car anyway?

I just want my car to be different than the others. How in the heck do you compete with the "Atomic Z" anyway. LOL. That is one beautiful ZR-1!!

If that was the car at BG this year, it sure is. There are so many great looking ZR-1's out there, it's hard to set one apart from the rest. There just aren't that many options besides wheels and tires. The LPE cars are beautiful too. I'll end up modifying my Aero kit just enough to make it different but not screw it up....hopefully. LOL

i remember seeing it in 00 or 99 in BG, not sure if it was there last year as I didn't go. i think i have such a soft spot because it was the first properly modified zr-1 I'd seen running balls out. I can remember seeing phil under the car fixing a half shaft or something like like with the DS rear slick off, *** end up the car way up in the air. had a big impact on a young, impressionable zr-1er

The Kit is sold by Callaway for a ZR-1. The Truth is Reeves Callaway will not touch a C4 no matter how much money you gave him. I talked to him personally at Bloomington and asked him if he would TT the Purple Beast His answer was " no we dont do anything with C4 except sell replacement parts". I like the ZR1 logo that you are talking about, but lets be honest than you are taking a Callaway body kit and adding a little Shinoda flare. does the picture look familiar?

The Callaway Body kit is the best looking kit in my opinion.

I have always felt the same about the imitation Z/28s or COPO cars as well as the people that put ZR-1 emblems on the standard Corvette.
Not all CR-1 had engine work done to them. The 475 HP engine upgrade was a different option just as the Aerobody, B2k, SSNT were. There were also additional options that never found their way into B2k, ZR-1 or SSNT. I do believe there was a 15,000.00 interior option as well.

I wanted to get your opinion on something though.

I'm thinking that instead of having CALLAWAY plastered all over the rear bumper, maybe I should recess the ZR-1 Script Logo (the right size of course) into the center of the rear bumper. Afterall, I won't have a Callaway engine under the hood.

Thoughts from the Brotherhood?????

Enough said, You answered your own question.
