Re: Southern California owners?
Paul, Still the same. back country between I-15 and the desert has great roads. Of course the stop in Julian at Mom's for apple pie. Also, we don't have winter, just cooler weather. Gonna miss this when I move to Spokane Valley but the "Sunshine Tax" in San Diego is killer.

Re: Southern California owners?
I, and the Board, would be very supportive of any So. Cal.
or Western US ZR-1 event(s). You can contact me via e-mail (best) or private message here. Not everybody uses Facebook :-) so I think the best place to communicate with other ZR-1 ers is this website where you can post/list what you want in the "Pacific Region" section under the "Club Regional Areas" in our Forum. Re: Southern California owners?
I remember too a parking lot near the San Diego Zoo as an impromptu gathering spot for the area's car enthusiasts to park on Saturday mornings. They'd park in the filtered sunlight under the shade of the Eucoliptus trees to meet and polish their cars before heading off to a cruise aomewhere - maybe to the Cabrillo lighthouse on Point Loma to view the harbor and/or the Pacific Ocean...
Ah.... No snow...unless you wanted to go to Mr Laguna just to play in the stuff for a few hours before returning to some coastal cafe to watch the sun dip onto the ocean. Yeah...So Cal is a great place to "Keep the Legend Alive"!
