Re: Praying for all of my ZR-1 family in Houston
We're a pretty tough lot here. Everyone is involved in cleanup operations, taking out carpeting, furniture, drywall and pretty much everything on floor level. Hard to explain unless you've lived through this mess.
Thoughts and prayers are welcomed by all. Every day that passes is one day closer to restoration of normal activities.. Sent from my XT1585 using ZR-1 Net Registry mobile app |

Re: Praying for all of my ZR-1 family in Houston
Steve's right. We are fairly self sufficient bunch here. Neighbor helping neighbor, private boats coming in from everywhere. Businesses are getting open quickly. We'll be back to normal faster than news media says. Best thing is not a lot of electrical outages as after a hurricane. With that normal will get here quicker.

Having worked the last 4 days in hard hit areas, there are a lot of cars that were submerged. We will have a huge number of vehicles that were under water. It came up so fast on Saturday that there was almost no time to move people, much less cars and trucks and motorcycles..

Re: Praying for all of my ZR-1 family in Houston
I'm sorry, but WHAT!!!! There wasn't a single news outlet that I saw that didn't say that Harvey was a major, major storm. All the major channels, plus Fox, CNN, MSN, nobody downplayed this storm.

Boy, if fake news was down playing the storm, I would hate to see what was really going on.
