When and if you get the SAMCO hoses, and you get to the water pump/t-stat one, use a bit of di-electric grease on the insides (for all of them for that matter) it will just slip right on once you get your tongue held right.
I also recommend getting the hose clamps too. Oh yeah, you need to be a NetRegistry member to get the deal on the hoses too, or so I am told. Good Luck, its a nice addition and just knowing you can get new hoses is nice.
