Put the emblem on the cover first without any RTV and tap it with your finger,you can hear it slightly bounce around.Now put a small dab of RTV in the cam cover recess,not enough to reach the edges of the recess once pressure is applied to the emblem and place the emblem and again tap on it,no bounce you have enough RTV.This may sound a little extreme but too much RTV and you have a nasty mess and who knows if the RTV will stain the paint on the cam covers.This works for me.

Curve is perfect.....check out the repro on the left vs the 90 OEM on the right....(the 90 looks thicker as its got adhesive on it) Curve is perfect
