Re: Hot Rod power Tour 2011
I had to go to Detroit friday on business. I saw quite a few Power Tour cars on the freeway. Neat stuff.

Re: Hot Rod power Tour 2011
Had a great time on the power tour. 3380 miles in 9 days and 8 car shows along the way. The ZR-1 ran great all the way. Temps in the south were around 100* and the car never went over 225* in trafffic. Considering the amount of cars attending I was impressed the attention the LT-5 got with the hood up.
Met GolfMike in Cocoa Beach along with the owner of a 95 Yellow Z. Saw a 91(?) in Muskegeon parked downtown. So four ZR-1 was a good showing considering almost 2000 cars a day. The greatest part was the long haul awards at GM proving Grounds in Milford. I never dreamed it was such a large faclity, 140 miles of roads. We were on a 66 acre patch of pavement call Black Lake. As we left we were allowed about a six mile cruise arounf the grounds. GM doesnt allow the public on the ground so it was a big deal to allow the HRPT inside the gat |
