Re: 2012 Barrett-Jackson Stuff
I thought they were being sold as a pair?.....the results site shows $110k for the 94, and $66k for the 2009.....??? Sounds like they were broken up?

They sold as a pair for 160K before buyers premiums. I anticipated the commercial break and was watching the live stream on the computer.

I agree, he would have done better in the public market, when you calculate the total cost of the week(hotel, dinner, transport, & ho's ). |

Re: 2012 Barrett-Jackson Stuff
At $160k I would say he did very well given the pricing in the previous post. Still, the '94 is a 1 of 1 and I hope it went to a good home.

Re: 2012 Barrett-Jackson Stuff
Not so good on the ZR1 (market value? after all it's just a used car at this point) but a home run on the ZR-1!

Re: 2012 Barrett-Jackson Stuff
I have a different take on the prices. I'm guessing $66,000 for the 2009 (includes a 10% buyers commission), $110,000 total for both, meaning the '91 brought $40000 plus $4000 commission. Does that make any sense? Also, has BJ or Mecum ever broadcast the auction of a ZR-1? I've never seen one.

Re: 2012 Barrett-Jackson Stuff
OK, I'm confused (that happens often)... did the cars sell separately, together or what? And for how much? $66k $110k $160k $176k???
The B&K website isn't very clear on the matter... |
