Wow, your mods make my head spin. What a list and it never ends. You'll run out of room in your signature. I'm just jealous. I can't upgrade to these, but very cool and I saw those before I bought my setup. Thanks for sharing the spinning wheel effect.

This conversion takes a lot more than what it seems. As such, very rewarding once done.
Great job, Daryl!

Concur. First hitch for us was we needed a pair of spare rear hub GM Teflon washers to "Stack" on top of the existing washers normally (one per side)as Dom mentioned when he did his install of that kit. These are not expensive but a bear to find however if you don't stack em you wont get enough clearance when you tighten everything up and will cause a non rotating clearance issue. The GM part number of that Teflon washer is 1407624.

Over on Corvette forum many folks have complained about hearing popping or a snapping sound from the rear wheels. Normally this occurs with excessive rusting of the rear splines and you guessed it ..... when this worn out Teflon washer is compromised. After cleaning the splines and replacing this GM washer the popping noise suddenly goes away. This is a common C4 issue.

Second issue as Phil mentioned and Dom also mentioned as well as oracle is the re routing of the brake cables away from the wheel I had discovered that one my FIKSE FM-5's rear wheel had pushed in the factory brake cable into one of my Banski trailing arms which chaffed a rub into the trailing arm bluntly (Which annoyed me) which I also took care off during this project with a new replacement.

DOM mentioned to Street Shop about the kit needing a Washer or a Shim solution before installing it but nothing was done with that info from Street Shop so you are kind of on your own as its not discussed in the installation instructions. GC

Popping noise due to rusty spline backing in and out, in my opinion, was due to insufficient torque GM specified originally - 160 lbs ft. GM later revised this to 190 lbs ft. Jagdpanzer adds another 10 lbs ft to make sure it stays put.

I used Mr. Parker spot caliper and it had its own challenges requiring additional engineering to make the whole thing work - I.e. Shaving and shimming of spot caliper pad, cutting and welding to narrow the parking cable bracket, re-engineering OEM parking cable to spot caliper lever using clevises, etc...

Pain in the butt but got it to work!

I always wondered why these front and rear brake upgrade kits that were available from Callaway and DRM back in the day were 5K-8K available options along with coil over suspension options etc with ALL the various motor performance package options

While some parts were damn expensive like the MOVIT setup the rest entirely had to the amount of labor involved to get it all to work correctly as stated above. GC
