Hit an unexpected patch of water or get caught in a surprise rain shower with those PS2's and you'll see a major difference.

Frank you are correct 500hp purple cars have trouble getting traction with any tire!

This is very true. When I was autocrossing on street tires I had to put 500 street miles on before anything would work at an event.

Yup, new tires need to "break in".

Robert, I hear you and understand what you mean. I'm running the Nitto NT05R drag radials and for the type of driving I do and the frequency, I don't think I will ever go back to pure street tires. I love em' since I don't really drive in rain and when I did have to, I had no issues. I think once I went over a certain HP level, regular tires just won't do for me.
