Is that what that is? I didnt realize it wasnt stock. I liked the thicker rim where I rest my hands and the flatter top profile.

Lucky me?

Now that I figured out how to resize pictures in ImageShack...

Here are the main problem areas in the suspension:

Front Ball Joints:

Excessive wheel weights on front wheel:

Cracks in the rear suspension bushings:

Steering Rack Leak:

Then we have some grease/oil build up around oil pan:

Its all about the journey!

Many members say just go around and tighten the oil pan bolts...Seems like its common for the oil pan to get just a little seepage...

Is that mustang just a GT or is it a Cobra?

Good tip! Going to give that a shot next time I have it in the air. Used brake cleaner to clean off the areas under the car where I saw the seepage. We'll see after a couple miles how it looks.

Its a 1993 GT that I've owned for 20 years. It was white just a bit over a year ago. Decided it needed a mini restoration, that turned into a color change that turned into a larger restoration than originally planned

Cervini's "Cobra" body kit because I always liked the 1993 Cobra R and have been building the car as a track toy since day one. Figured I'd make my version of what Ford could have done using somewhat period correct suspension upgrades (stuff available in the 90/00s)

"Almost done"...

Doing some more digging as Im planning the first round of maintenance/upgrades for the rest of the year.

Popped the ECM cover to inspect the chip and it turns out its from Dominic Sorresso (XFireZ51). After talking with Dominic, the chip he burned for the car was for the 441 engine that was previously in the car.

Pete (from Chicago) removed the 441 engine and reinstalled the factory 350 motor. While in there he ported the intake manifold and injector housings. Im pretty sure that the secondary system was deleted at this time also. He told me that he reflashed the chip so the 350 could run but couldnt tell me any of the details of the upgraded tune thats currently on the car.

What I know is that the Power Key light is always on and cannot be defeated. Also the car runs GREAT! LOL I have no complaints at all, I just need to know whats going on so down the road when I add headers/catback the tuner knows what else to include in the chip. (or will the tuner be able to simply mod existing chip to account for future upgrades and leave the rest of it operating as it should?)

Either way, the items that need attention sooner than later:

Spark Plugs
Fuel Filter
Front Ball Joints (Upper and Lower)
Steering Rack Leak (Tie Rods?)
Lower Driver Seat (Seat Pan mod or bottom cushion mod?)

Winter Project:
Rebuild suspension with RideTech Kit (StreetGrip vs Coilover Package?)

Also have a line on some headers and a catback system from a forum member.
