I like it a lot. Good on GM for taking a risk and pushing new limits for American ingenuity and racing.

I knew it was going to be a world beater, GM wouldn't of made this move without some serious home work. I love everything except those Camaro tail lights, I mean come on GM.....but what shocked me was the pricing of a base C8. That is insane dollar for what you are getting. I know each trim level will up the $, but wow...I can't imagine the looks and performance of the Z06 version and the ZR-1/ Zora versions. We shall see what happens to the fit and finish of this 1st year new Gen, but so far I'm very impressed.

And C7 prices have to take a big hit right? Well maybe not big, but if I can get into a base C8 for $65-67k out the door, what does that mean for the beautiful C7 sitting on the lot?

I like the car more each time I see it,the white one doesn’t have the goofy spoiler which makes it even better. It would be nice if GM offered a spoiler delete option on the Z51 car.

I'll be surprised if anyone leaves a dealership with one for $60,000, but I'm glad they pushed to have it available for a low(ish) price.

Someone else mentioned elsewhere, I hope they didn't skimp on a lot of things to keep the price so low.

I like it a lot. I'm sure it will do well. Good for GM/Chevy for finally biting the bullet and taking the gamble on the mid-engine.

Agreed....The white one is sharp...I'm thinking a spoiler reminiscent of the C6ZR1....Same color with just a small lip from side to side.....I'm sure aftermarket spoilers will be available for this car since I think they could have done a little better job with the spoiler...

Allthough,I'm pretty impressed overall with it.....Don't even mind there's no manual...

Pretty crazy, but not surprising. It's really smitten sports car fanatics of all ages.

Gonna stick with the 25-year-old ZR-1 for a bit longer. Drove it today. Still enjoy it thoroughly.
