Thanks for the input. I'll check the light when I get home tonight. I've got the procedure for resetting it.

1. Turn the key to RUN, but don’t start the engine.

2. Press ENG MET on the Trip Monitor. Then, within
five seconds, press it again.

3. Witbin five seconds, press and hold GAUGES (or Range button in 90-91) on the
Trip’Monitor. The CHANGE OIL light should flash.

4. Hold the GAUGES button (or Range button in 90-91) until the CHANGE OIL
light stops flashing and goes out. This should take
about ten seconds.

When the light goes out, the monitor is reset. If the
monitor doesn’t reset, turn the ignition off, then try
again.

Checked tonight, when I turn the key on, the change oil light does not come on. Somebody with a 90 wanna do a key check for me and see if the "change oil light" comes on with the key. I don't remember it coming on pre start up.

Well, maybe I'll run mine until the next oil change and see if the light comes on. I know the first time it came on, it surprised me, like I had never seen it before. Or, maybe the bulb is blown.

My "Change Oil Light" comes on for a few seconds then goes out with the key on, but not running.

Well you now know the bulb is popped. You'll no longer get a reminder from the car until you replace the bulb. The bulb should not be hard to replace.
