Need tires

I just did the Nitto NT-555 G2 off Discount Tire Direct. Very happy with the performance for the cheap price.

Keep in mind that not all tires have the same actual widths (if that is important to you). I purchased a set of Toyo R888 tires and they had the correct sizes for front and rear. The R888 is no longer available and has been replaced by the R888R.

About a month ago I purchased a new set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 from a Goodyear shop here in Fort Myers. I was skeptical when the owner said he could get them, but he had them in a couple days.

I'd be curious of the dates on the tires. I was told by Goodyear they won't be making anymore and there all gone. I've been looking for the fronts for 8 months now. Went to your link and they didn't have any. You got lucky. Enjoy them.

I don't have the exact dates handy but the owner told me he wouldn't sell me old tires. I can tell you this, none were in Fort Myers. I think 2 came from Miami, one came from Tampa, and and the other from Orlando. If you called him, I'm sure he'd work with you to find the tires...he has great GY connections and he loves Corvettes ;-)

I also have the MT Street Comps on my ZR-1. I think they're great tires. They drive nicer and have much more traction than the 20 year old Michelins they replaced.
