Well, now that you mention it, I can supply some of those dipstick brackets you'll need when you install the headers...

PM me if you need me to make one (some) up.

Paul, my header install guy was happy I provided him with your bracket. Anybody doing headers, I would suggest buying Paul bracket. -Steve

Where does that bracket go? I need to see if the PO already put one on. And is it a replacement for a bad bracket or an additional bracket?

I didn't do the headers, but I beleive the dipstick needs to be relocated because of the headers, this bracket just shifts it over a bit.

Well, if I am ever going to do it, this is probably the best price I will ever see, so put me in for headers & hi flow cats (with thermal coating) sku: ZR1FACTCAT.

I plan on hooking up the air tubes...Can SW include the tubes, or is that something that is done later...such as Marc does???

Meanmyz - good qn.... Anyone know?

My understanding is that the air injection only plays a role in reducing emmissions before the engine is warmed up? I am assuming I could still pass emmissions without air injection (with CATs). They don't do visual inspection here.

A question on Thermal Coating.... from what I have been reading on the web there seems to be mixed opinions as to whether it is much benefit when used on SS headers. Is it worth it/necessary? Is there a cheaper alternative anyone would recommend?

Lastly... Whats the process to participate in this deal - call up SW directly and mention the forum?

Thanks

If you get the headers and cats with the factory connection, where does it bolt to?

It should bolt up directly to your factory exhaust (or an exhaust with equivalent connections to factory). In my case I have a flowmaster system. Since it bolts up directly to the factory manifolds/cats - I assume it will also bolt up directly to headers with a factory connection

Does it replace the factory resonator?
