I checked a site that has pretty good info on model years and the changes Chevrolet made. They list no floor changes. It would take changes in the transmission tunnel to increase footwell area in width or lengthening the front floor to give more legroom. The automatic is easier for obvious reasons. Floor mats are the same with the exception of the hole for the grommet to allow the pin that holds them in place. At least Ecklers sells a set that fit 84-96.

A little bit skeptical on this, I've had 3 C4s and have been into Corvettes for 30 years and have never heard anything about 94+ C4s having a more spacious footwell.

There‘s extra space on the passenger side floor
of my car from concerned passengers pressing on the
non-existent brake pedal...😀

Very funny, Doug!

Sounds like you have a "speed limiter" (wife)
like I have!
