Good insurance would be to replace the old plastic Y with the billet Y machined by carter200 (CT Machining). This is a plug n play unit.

I received the Acdelco EP381 fuel pumps from Rock Auto. They are made in Brazil. Hope this helps folks that avoid Chinese made products.

Some additional information that may be helpful to others.

The latest GM 25091503 sending unit gasket does not have 9 holes. You can cut the additional hole into it, but that's a hassle. The SPECTRA PREMIUM LO148 gasket costs a lot less and doesn't require modification.

Several threads suggest the ACDELCO TS3 fuel pump screen for the lower pump. It is too short to work properly. Marc Haibeck suggests the TS2, which is the proper length.

Lastly, no threads mention the replacement of the rubber o-rings for the 9 bolts. Several of mine broke while be removed and require replacement. I'll update when I figure out a properly sized replacement.

Update on the always neglected o-ring info for the nine bolts on the sending unit. I found 5mm i.d. x 8mm o.d. viton o-rings at grainger. Should have them tomorrow and I'll update again with a part number if they work.

Recieved the viton o-rings from Grainger and they look like the should work great.

You pay more for the privilege too, but good to have a real GM made part.

Hi Marc.
To clarify, you use one of each of the TS1 and TS2 strainers for a replacement of both fuel pumps?

And I can't find a listing for the Spectra L0148. Where do I find those?
