Pulled the jets and had them correct.....fuel side was dry.....but might have been from sitting, could smell gas.....wonder if solenoid was not opening gas, I would think pumps should be able to supply the correct flow

I thought for sure this was going to be the next episode of the Big Bang Theory. Anxious to see how that bottom end holds up with nitrous on a 125k+ mile engine.

Was looking through a few pics I took when we were looking at the dyno results

Was making 428ftlbs at 4K RPM....also saw it was at 403RWHP at 5K

AFRs in the 14 range...yikes

Of all engines this might be the one that likes Nos the most looking forward to further results.

Well I have fuel getting to the solenoid, I know Solenoid has worked before on the fuel side......and the solenoid controls both the NOS/Fuel so we know it works at least in part. So we have the following possibilities

1)Fuel side of solenoid is not working

2)Jet is too small....which would be odd as typically they Jet it rich

3)Pumps cannot handle the dip in pressure and maintain what I need

Are you able to monitor the fuel pressure while the car's running? That might help you narrow it down.

I did not. We did test it without nitrous and fuel from the jet only and the car ran leaner. So thinking it's the pump

I think somewhere in the forum someone had a picture of a pressure gage temporarily connected to the test port, with a long hose so they could read the fuel pressure while driving (gage taped to windshield). You could do a brief test like that without a dyno.

Or you could go ahead and install a permanent fuel pressure gage. I did that when I first got my car to help troubleshoot its issues. Mine is located on the A pillar using a generic plastic pod. It's kind of nice having it. Might be useful some day, especially for a situation like yours.

Good luck. Looking forward to reading your progress and results. Sounds like it will be awesome.
