I know most of us on here didn't buy our Beasts to be long term investments. Rather to be enjoyed for what they are. But last night, I was watching a Mecum auction. And a red on black 1995 ZR-1 went across the block......I think it had under 15,000 miles and looked amazing. But what caught my ear was the announcers. When the ZR-1 came on the screen, they immediately started gushing about ZR-1s ........They said that the market on C4 ZR-1s, will one day soon go stratospheric. Future prices will be big on any Z, but the 1990, the 93 Rubies, and the 95s will be the ones that appreciate. And they continue to scratch their heads on why the market is what it is. The car ended up selling for $28,000, and they said that is where the market is......BUT they also said if you want one, now is the time to buy. Because they see the market going nowhere but up.

Yes the 9PM slot has more to do with Bob Johnson the consignor then the car IMHO.

Does the car run?
Is the "Active" active?
Can you license this car for the road?

GM High Tech Performance magazine article, I couldn't find it online on its own, only via Super Chevy.

It was fully functional in 2009. Not sure about now. Scrap title is very very very x 10 hard to get properly registered. Not impossible but almost

I could have sworn that in earlier pics I've seen of this car, it had some sort of rectangular gauge installed under the stereo, to the right of the power key. Wonder why that's not there.
