Played with a 2000ish Trans Am from on a highway roll I got him 3 out of 3 then he came by me like I was stopped, I think he turned on Nitrous! There was too much traffic to let the Z stretch her legs though.

However believe me these cars are getting pretty beefy lately......

I'm a city boy...Grew up in Brooklyn my entire life (54).....Last March I drove my rent a car from the Vegas strip to Ron Fellows Corvette school ( spent 3 days on the track there )......

I can't get over how much open roads there are out west........You guys must have so much fun in your Zs out there..

On a recent outing with the local Corvette club about 30 of us were running down Hwy50 heading east out of Reno. I was in my C6. Most of us were running in the 120-130mph range as a group. Not another car to be seen. One guy in a new C7 Z06 hit 194mph! There long stretches where the road is dead straight with visibility of 5 miles or more. I just love the desert roads out east of here.
